The gifted endorsement program lacked data collection and analysis. We identified many sources for data including completion data. We set an expectation to take action as a result of data. Support improvement of student achievement results at local schools through professional development and the deployment of appropriate resources.
In addition to the continuous improvement of our endorsement programs, we encourage teachers to develop a mindset of continuous improvement. The data illustrates dispositions before the gifted endorsement program in yellow and dispositions after program completion in red. In 2018, the gifted endorsement program was under monitor status with the Georgia Professional Standards Commission, or GaPSC. We reviewed feedback from candidates and made revisions, leading to significant program improvement. We are in good standing with the GaPSC and share the data annually with the Advisory Council.
Support continuous improvement. View a report submitted to GaPSC during the district's review in Spring 2025. The Gifted Endorsement Program met all standards. A picture of the data analysis is below.
